Darren and Aubrey setting up the new old bunk bed. It comes with blessing from the Caldwell family.

Aubrey hard at work.

They each have their own bed and they all end up in one bed. By the end of this first night all three were back in bed with Darren and I.

Aubrey claims that he has already gained more soccer skills from sleeping in the bed of a good soccer player Jesse Caldwell.

 A very happy girl.

Shiphrah Bahay Paanakan new look does not only look nice but keeps the inside dry. All the midwives and birthing moms are very thankful for the gift of a new roof.
Thank you Ken and Francoises your gift blesses many.

It is not everyday that you can see the trees through the top of your livingroom.

The roof at Shiphrah Bahay Paanakan has needed a new roof for quite awhile.

We are very thankful that Ken and Francoise Butt are replacing the whole roof at Shiphrah. Room by room.

 A very strange site.
Thank you workmen for all your efforts.
Men hard at working welding the new roof beams.
It looks pretty strange to see the Birthing Home with only half a roof.

The new ceiling in the living room. Yeh!! It is looking better already.

Shiphrah Midwives love being with pregnant women.

We see pregnancy as a special, beautiful time in a woman's life and Tere Coman definitely was beautiful.

It was a joy for Deborah, Grace, and Jeri to be blessed with attending the homebirth of Tere and Mike Coman.

What a special moment when Ziva gave her first cry she was safe at home. Born into the presence of a beautiful supportive community of parents, grandmas, uncles, and friends.

Plenty of time and space to snuggle mom and dad
We are all smiles. Hip ! Hip ! Hooray! Ziva is here!
The Birthing Team
Grandma/Midwife gives her grandaughter her newborn exam. Thank you Grandma.

Our youngest in the little children's home is now in hospital with respiratory distress. He is only 2 months old and a tiny baby's lungs are very fragile. He is thankfully not on O2 and the hope is that he will be able to come home on Friday or Saturday. Please pray for his quick recovery.

You can see other options to help with his care at the 'Support HELP' link to the right.
